Indu Georges, born Fabielle Merline Georges, is a Haitian American woman orginally from Miami, Florida. She is a happily single mother to her son Qedamawi-Tefere. She just recently graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor's in English which focuses on Black and Post-Diasporic issues and a minor in Studio Art.  

She is spoken word artist, a visual artist, and a fiction and non-fiction writer. Aside from this anthology, she is working on a mini-memoir and a book of short stories.
