1. When is the deadline? November 2 2009

3. Do we have to stick to the topic? Yes, please stay on course.


4. Who can submit essays? Afro-American, Afro- Caribbean, Hispanic, or Afro-Latin females

5. Can I submit more than one essay? Yes, all writers can submit more than one essay.


6. Do the essays need to be in an academic format like MLA or APA? No. These are personal essays and can be written however you are comfortable.


7. Who is publishing the anthology? Informatoin regarding the publishing and rights will be released as soon as possible. In the event that the anthology is self published, writers will be reimbursed as follows:
-- 1-2 pages: $75
-- 3-4 pages:$100  
-- 5-6 pages:$125                                                                                                          
Writers will also recieve a free copy of the book and will own the rights to their work.


8. Who is editing the anthology? Indu Georges is editing the anthology.


9. Do I have to use citations? Only if you have used someone else's ideas or work. We do not tolerate plagiarism.
